SILRES® REN 168
- Chemical Family
- Siloxanes
SILRES® REN 168 is a solid, silanol-functional methylphenyl silicone resin that is specifically recommended for the silicone modification of organic resins, including silicone polyester. Its main application is to enhance the weather and heat resistance of paints. SILRES® REN 168 is well-suited for incorporating a compatible silicone component into other binder systems, resulting in increased weathering or heat resistance properties. By introducing SILRES® REN 168, binder systems can be effectively modified to improve their performance in challenging environmental conditions and high-temperature applications.
