- Manufacturing Procedure
- The raw material is partially deacetylated chitin from shrimp shells. The finished product is a filtered acidic solution of chitosan.
- Shelf Life Storage
Hydamer™ CMFL remains stable for at least 12 months in its original unopened container protected from light and at temperatures below 30⁰C. Hydamer™ CMF contains Phenonip XB as preservative. Store the containers indoor prevented from sunlight.
- Usage
Hydamer™ CMFL is not compatible with anionic compounds. It is limited compatible with isopropanol (e.g. a 2% solution of Hydamer™ CMFL with max 40% isopropanol) and with more than 60% ethanol (with a-hydroxy-isobutyric acid: compatible up to 80% ethanol). Hydamer™ CMFL is not suitable for use in alkaline formulations such as deo-sticks. The application concentration should be in the range from 0.05 to 0.2% AS.
