Metalcrete Industries COLOR-ROK EXTERIOR COAT is a one-component, crystal clear liquid coating specifically formulated as an exterior top coat for Color-Rok quartz aggregate decorative surfacing. Also excellent as a clear coating for exterior surfaces of concrete, terrazzo, brick or stone. Not recommended as a coating for exterior wood.

Color-Rok Flooring Exterior Top Coat is packaged in 55-gal. (208 liter) drums, 5-gal. (18.9 liter) pails, and 1-gal. (3.8 liter) cans (6 per case).

Color-Rok Flooring Exterior Top Coat is a solvent-based, one-component acrylic compound.
- Limitations
Color-Rok Flooring Exterior Top Coat should not be used where exposure to aromatic solvents is possible. Good ventilation is necessary during the application process. Not recommended as a coating for exterior wood surfaces.

Seals surfaces to make cleaning easier.; Prevents penetration of water or other liquids which may produce unsightly, often permanent stains.; Immune to softening or other deterioration when exposed to wet conditions and even standing water.; Will not break down, crack, soften, or peel when exposed to direct sunlight.; Will not yellow or fade even when in direct sunlight.; Can withstand temperature ranges between 140°F (60°C) to -40°F (-40°C).; Penetrates deeply into any properly prepared surface and develops a vise-like grip. Also achieves powerful adhesion to itself as successive coats weld themselves together.; Eliminates dusting of unsealed concrete and reduces tracking of dirt and dust particles.; Does not break down under ultraviolet exposure.; Brightens appearance of coated surfaces.

For coating Color-Rok Flooring estimate 2 gals. of Color-Rok Flooring Exterior Top Coat for each 1-1/2 gals. of Color-Rok Flooring Base Coat. Coverage rates for coating other materials will depend on the surface texture and porosity of the material being coated. For ordinary unsealed concrete estimate 250-300 sq. ft. per gallon on the first coat and 350-400 sq. ft. for subsequent coats.
