Storage and Handling

At temperatures up to 25°C storage stability packed in original containers amounts to at least 180 days. It is important to protect BECKOPOX™ VEP 2381w from frost und direct sunlight; at low temperatures it has to be stored under frostproof conditions. The viscosity of BECKOPOX™ VEP 2381w might decrease during storage. The product tends to form a tiny skin on the surface. It is therefore recommended to filter BECKOPOX™ VEP 2381w prior to use.; Lowest storage temperature: 5°C; When handling and processing epoxy resins and hardeners, the rules and regulations established by local authorities should be observed. A Material Safety Data Sheet is available on request.

Distinguishing Features

BECKOPOX™ VEP 2381w is similar in structure to BECKOPOX™ EP 384w but has due to its reduced solvent content a much shorter potlife.

Special Properties and Uses

BECKOPOX™ VEP 2381w is a solid type 1 epoxy resin as aqueous dispersion. When cured with suitable curing agents such as BECKOPOX™ EH 623w or EH 659w fast drying coating systems for mineral and metallic substrates can be formulated.
