Distinguishing Features

BECKOPOX™ EM 460 has been specially developed for the formulation of wash primers and shop primers. Compared with phenolic resols, which are also used for this purpose, BECKOPOX™ EM 460 has better adhesion and often better corrosion-protection properties and does not tend to cause discolouration even when overcoated with stoving enamels.

Special Properties and Uses

Excellent adhesion to steel and nonferrous metals, high corrosion protection, best recoatability.. With polyvinylbutyral for one- and two-component washprimers, weldable shop primers.
