Cutting and Grinding Fluids CG 4221 is formulated with a proprietary blend of anti-corrosion additives, base oils, and solvent, making for an easily applied full coverage rust preventative. This product is ideal for use when parts have been processed through water solutions, and when they will be exposed to changes in humidity, salt corrosion, or acidic environments. CG 4221 deposits a thin, transparent, light oil film that is not easily disturbed during shipping and handling. Additionally, the product is non- staining and is safe to use on coiled or stacked metals. It is also non-corrosive to a variety of non-ferrous metals including copper, aluminum, zinc, magnesium, brass, and cadmium.

CG 4221 should be stored at room temperatures (between 55 to 95 °F). Keep away from sparks, open flames, and other sources of ignition as product and empty containers could contain combustible, flammable, or ignitable substances. Do not weld or cut empty drums.
