Andisil® SF 1505 is a blend of volatile siloxanes and high molecular weight gum which provides excellent water resistance, enhanced adhesion of actives and anti-friss properties. It offers a long-lasting feel, film-forming, lubrication, tack reduction, UV protection, and imparts a variety of sensory properties. This product is recommended for lotions/creams, skin and suncare, color cosmetics, and hair care applications.

EMULSION PRODUCTS 1. Andisil® SF 1505 can be incorporated directly into the oil phase of the formulation. 2. If temperatures above 70°C (158°F) are being used to melt the oil phase, Andisil® SF 1505 should be added slowly after the formation of the emulsion, and below 60°C (140°F), using a high shear mixer.. NON-EMULSION PRODUCTS It is advisable to add cosmetic ingredients to the silicone and not vice versa as often ultra highmolecular weight dimethiconol is incompatible with other cosmetic ingredients.
