- Reactivity
Andisil® DMOS readily undergoes hydrolysis upon contact with moisture. Andisil® Oximes are liquid raw materials for neutral condensation curing silicone sealants. In the presence of a (tin) catalyst these silanes react with hydroxyfunctional silicone polymers; exposure to moisture results in the formation of crosslinked, elastomeric silicones.

- Application and Performance
Crosslinking agent for RTV systems; Used in combination with other oxime silanes to provide sealants with the following properties: desired cure rate, adhesion, etc); Due to the neutral character of 2-butanoneoxime, sealants based on Andisil® DMOS can even be applied on (corrosion) sensitive substrates like metals or marble.
