- Product Properties
AFCONA-4017 is a polymeric dispersant mainly developed for co-grinding purposes for coil and can coating, baking polyester and acrylic, epoxy as well as polyurethane. Comparing to AFCONA - 4015, AFCONA - 4017 does not depend on polarity and perform well in almost all resins system especially for dark color co-grinding. Note: AFCONA – 4017 will become slightly hazy at temperature 5°C and below, but this will not influent the quality
- Addition and Dosage
- Calculation method for the required amount of AFCONA-4015 on pigment:
- TiO2
- 6 - 8%
- Other inorganic pigments
- 5 - 10%
- Organic pigments
- 20 - 40%
- Carbon blacks
- 30 - 60%
- However the optimum dosage will be 1% in total formulation.
- Chemical Composition
- Modified polyurethane polymer.
