- Benefits
POLYSTEP B-23E is an ethoxylated lauryl ether sulfate containing 12 moles of ethylene oxide. POLYSTEP B-23E is a suitable APE alternative, offering the advantage of both anionic and non-ionic surfactant properties in emulsion polymerization.
- Standard Packaging
POLYSTEP B-23E is available in bulk, 200kg drums and 1000kg Intermediate Bulk Containers.
- Handling
Normal safety precautions (i.e. gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling POLYSTEP B-23E. Contact with the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided. It is recommended that POLYSTEP B-23E be stored in sealed containers and kept in a cool, dry place. Avoid overheating or freezing. If material has been frozen, mild heat and agitation are recommended to ensure material is homogeneous before use.. POLYSTEP B-23E should be stored in 316L stainless steel or fiberglass with a corrosion liner. Mild agitation is recommended while storing to maintain homogeneity. Material should be stored between 15-30 °C. An internal hairpin coil of 316L stainless steel with low pressure steam (under 50 psig) should be used if heating is required. Pumps, pipes and transfer lines should be 316L stainless steel.
