Compatibility

Teraflow® 5344 is a polyether modified dimethyl polysiloxane copolymer surfactant designed to impart scratch and mar resistance, surface flow, slip and substrate wetting to both solvent-based and water-based coatings. As with any dimethyl polysiloxane additive, the formulator should determine its effect on intercoat adhesion and recoatability of the film.

Compatible
Dimethyl Polysiloxane
HIGHLIGHTS

Can be used for both solvent-based and water-based systems.; Imparts slip and mar resistance.; Helps prevent craters and orange peel.

Packaging Information
  • 5 Gallon Pail
  • 55 Gallon Drum.
Use Levels

Teraflow® 5344 is recommended for use between 0.1% and 0.3% based on the total formulation weight. Add Teraflow® 5344 to the finished coating prior to let-down

Recommended Applications

Teraflow® 5344 is designed for use in solvent-based and water-borne coatings systems. It lowers the surface tension of the formulation and imparts slip, flow, leveling, mar resistance. Teraflow® 5344 also helps prevent cratering and orange peel.
