- Chemical Family
- Bacteria
ACCELOBAC® 2000P is a biologically active material containing billions of Aerobic and Anaerobic bacteria capable of high amylase, protease, lipase, and cellulase enzyme production. Specially formulated strains of Aerobic and Anaerobic Bacteria designed for and COD reduction in a variety of wastewater treatment applications. Consists of specially formulated cultures which give high levels amylase, protease, lipase and cellulase enzyme production. Cultures include 5 Bacillus strains: B. licheniformis, B. pumilus, B. subtilis, B. megaterium, B amyloliquifaciens along with Phaenerochaete, Trichoderma, Pseudomonas and other proprietary strains.

- Unit Definitions
Bacterial Amylase‐ One bacterial amylase unit (BAU) is defined as that quantity of enzyme which will dextrinize one milligram of starch per minute at pH 6.6 and 30°C.; Cellulase‐ One cellulase unit (CU) is defined as the amount of activity that will produce a relative fluidity change of 1 in 5 minutes in a defined carboxymethyl cellulose substrate under the conditions of the assay (pH4.5 and 40°C).; Lipase‐ One unit of enzyme activity (FIP Unit) is defined as that quantity of a standard lipase preparation (Fungi Lipase‐International FIP Standard) that liberates the equivalent of 1μmol of fatty acid per minute from the Substrate Emulsion under the described assay conditions.; Protease-One bacterial protease unit (PC) is defined as that quantity of enzyme that that produces the equivalent of 1.5 mg per mL of l‐tyrosine per minute under the conditions of the assay.
- Storage Condition
For optimal activity store in cool dry place under 90°F. Standard shelf life under these conditions is 1 year.
- Precautionary Statements
Do not breathe vapors. Do not get on skin or clothing. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Use with adequate ventilation. Keep container closed and sealed until ready for use. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Do not ingest.
