American Biosystems SUPER AO Fermentation Extract, ORGANIC
American Biosystems SUPER AO Fermentation Extract, ORGANIC is a highly concentrated blend of beneficial fungal enzymes for inclusion in pelleted animal feeds or as a top-dressed ingredient. Aspergillus oryzae is a source of a wide variety of industrial and agricultural enzymes including amylase and fermentation factors capable of improving fermentation processes. Aspergillus oryzae fermentation product is designed to provide the highest levels of fungal alpha-amylase and a source of Unidentified Growth Factors (UGF’s) for animal feed applications. The UGF activity is the highest in any product available and can survive the pelleting process. SUPER AO can be mixed with other DFM (direct-fed microbial) ingredients with complementary enzyme activities or used as a stand-alone ingredient.

- Unit Definitions
Fungal Amylase - One alpha-amylase dextrinizing unit (DU=SKB) is the quantity of α-amylase that will dextrinize soluble starch in the presence of an excess of beta-amylase at the rate of 1 gram per hour at 30°C.
- HIGHLIGHTS
A quality source of high concentrations of fungal enzymes beneficial at acidic and neutral pH levels up to 60°C.
- Storage Condition
For optimal activity store in cool dry place under 100°F (37°C). Standard shelf life under these conditions is 2 years.
- Precautionary Statements
Avoid inhalation of dust as they can elicit allergic reactions in susceptible individuals. Handle only after consulting safety data sheet.
- Recommended Usage Rates
6 grams per head per day. Experience may show more or less product is necessary to achieve desired results. Optimal conditions for enzyme activity are pH 4.0-6.0 at 40-50°C.
