AXIMOL OEC-1 acts as an emollient. It is a naturally-derived oleic ester complex, consisting of a unique composition of oleic esters of sorbitan and glycerol. It is of high purity, non-oily and is effective at protecting the skin from dehydration while maintaining a smooth and supple feel. This all-natural ester will provide lubricity, moisturization and emolliency to personal care applications while increasing barrier function and lipid enhancement. It is ideal for use in baby care, as glyceryl oleate has been identified in the vernix caseosa which protects a newborn baby’s skin.
