EMULTROL CM-2465 is an aqueous emulsion based on mineral wax. It is an optimal modification additive for the production of aqueous coatings. EMULTROL CM-2465 creates hydrophobic characteristics in the coatings and films. Because of its chemical structure, coatings which contain EMULTROL CM-2465 can be good painted, printed and they are good adhesible at the later films. EMULTROL CM-2465 is also very suitable for the modification of aqueous binding agents at the paper and carton production. At the direct use of EMULTROL CM-2465 on already applied surfaces, a high gloss level, low lubricate and high blocking resistance are achieved on the surface. The water repellence at paper and cartons is considerably improved. EMULTROL CM-2465 has a food law approval and is therefore also suitable for the usage in the food area.

At a proper, dry and cool storage in its original packaging, the storage stability of the product EMULTROL CM-2465 will be at least 6 months. The optimum storage temperature will be between +15 and +30°C.

- Precaution
Do not store outdoors. Aqueous product. Protect from frost to avoid irreversible damages. Keep in sealed containers at temperatures between 15°C and 35°C. Before the opening of the containers, stir them well. At a longer storage time a slight separation may occur. The usual precautions for chemicals should be taken for its handling and its transport.

EMULTROL CM-2465 is good compatible with the most aqueous binding agent and dispersion systems. In order to achieve perfect compatibility, the pH-value has to be balanced. The compatibility with other additives and filler materials is well given.
