IonoGrind 165 is a innovative technology that makes one out of two: grinding and rotary eroding in one machine. This saves time and money. That‘s why oelheld developed a fluid especially adapted to this process. IonoGrind is a multifunctional fluid that is equally suitable for spark erosion and as a grinding oil. It was designed for use in combination machines (two in one) and combines the advantages of a high-performance dielectric for the extremely high removal rate and surface quality with a low-foaming and low-evaporation grinding oil. IonoGrind is the right medium for eroding and grinding PCD (polycrystalline diamonds), HSS and tungsten carbide, as its special composition prevents the release of cobalt. By using special high-pressure additives, IonoGrind also achieves maximum grinding performance.

IonoGrind is a multi-functional oil that is equally suitable for spark erosion as a dielectric and grinding oil. It has been designed for use in combination machines (two-in-one systems) and unites the advantages of a high-performance dielectric for a high metal removal rate and good surface quality with a high-speed grinding oil that produces very little foam and vaporization. IonoGrind is the right medium for eroding and grinding polycrystalline diamonds, HSS and hard metals since its special composition mean that cobalt leaching is minimized. Tools with polycrystalline diamonds are becoming increasingly important. Here, too, IonoGrind with its EP additives, shows highly effcient grinding results. IonoGrind is manufactured by enriching extremely pure synthetic products with satellite electrodes by means of a special blending method (German Patent No. 4132879, US Patent 08/859,703) and adding extremely age-stable-high-pressure additives.
