LESTAC CY100 is pale yellow thermoplastic resin obtained from mainly polymerizing unsaturated aliphatic 1,3-pentadiene (1,3-piperlene) dicyclopentadiene and some monomers derived from the process of thermal cracking of naphtha. This resin have some smell but lower price than C5 aliphatic resin. The major usages are the binder for rubber and tire compound, strap, shoes, etc. also can be used tackifier for pressure sensitive adhesive, because of its well balanced PSA properties such as tackness, adhesive strength and cohesive strength.
