Niacet Ammonium Acetate 50% Solution
Pharmaceutical grade Ammonium Acetate is used in the manufacture of insulin and penicillin as well as in chromatography. Technical grade Ammonium Acetate is used in the dyeing and printing of textiles, in surface treatment of metals and as a catalyst in rayon fiber productions. Ammonium Acetate is available as fine white crystals, or as a 50% or 57.5% solution in water.

- Stability
Pharmaceutical grade Ammonium Acetate is stable for 3 years from date of production. All other grades have 2 years stability. Physical stability and appearance may change before the end of shelf-life if not stored single-stacked in closed original packaging, dry and at room temperature. Ammonium Acetate is a "wet" crystalline product, meaning it is not uncommon for the material to harden/cake. The material can be broken up manually.
