Usage Recommendations

The Alcalox-N additive acts on paints by raising their pH. The product has no smell and is non toxic. Alcalox-N was developed to replace ammonia, which, in addition to having an unpleasant smell, is a controlled product. It can be used in any type of water-based paint, when necessary to increase its pH.

Dosage Recommendation

The ideal dosage must be found through previous laboratory tests and varies according to components and type of paint. However, it was observed that the most recommended dosages can range from 0.10% to 0.30% of the total ink.
