METABLEN™ S 2260
- Chemical Family
- Acrylics Acrylates & MethacrylatesSilicon-based Compounds
METABLEN™ S 2260 is a silicone-acrylic-based rubber core shell-type impact modifier that provides super high impact strength and weatherability to acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA) and poly methyl methacrylate (PMMA) through extrusion and moldings. It is used for esthetic exterior car components such as front grills, and housings for electronics.FeaturesWeather stabilityHydrolysis resistanceImpact resistance even at low temperatures*METABLEN™ is provided by Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, a member of the Mitsubishi Chemical Group.
