Zortrax Z-PEEK

Z-PEEK is one of the strongest polymers on the planet. It has strength-to-weight ratio comparable to stainless steel and exceptional thermal properties. The material can withstand thermal-cycling in vacuum chambers used for space-qualification tests, radiation, or wear in over 22 million cycles in PEEK-steel gear pairs working at 1600 rpm.

Features

Radiation resistance; Z-PEEK is resistant to radiation. It has been proven to withstand over 46 months of exposure to Low Earth Orbit environment without shielding.; Extreme temperatures; A pump printed with Z-PEEK can operate in a wide range of temperatures. It can be safely heated up to 250 °C and cooled down to -100 °C.; Abrasion resistance; Z-PEEK is a great filament for heavy-duty mechanical parts. Can be used for printing gears or components for polymer-metal sliding systems.
