It is used in the construction of automobiles, trailers, refrigerator cabinets, railroad cars, pre-fabricated buildings, and other areas that require a non-staining, non-hardening, non-drying sealer.

401.2 sealer is compatible with plastics, rubber and paint. It may be painted over without softening or discoloring paint. It will withstand normal bake cycles without hardening or cracking. 401.2 exhibits good adhesion to commercially clean surfaces. It is insoluble in water but soluble in hydrocarbon solvents. 401.2 is available in extruded bead or tape form.
