- HIGHLIGHTS
They selectively absorb the aggressive part of the light rays' spectrum (protective screening function) and neutralize their destructive effect (antioxidant function). At continuous lack of lutein occurs irreversible sight damage. It is especially relevant nowadays when due to the decrease in ozone layer and the increase in amounts of ultraviolet rays, and also in view of intensive computers use. Thus, while taking into consideration the additional use of lutein-containing preparations we strengthen our own naturally-programmed function of sight protection.
