- Suggested Applications
In dual-cure systems, EBECRYL® 1205 is combined with isocyanate functional resins.; Following solvent evaporation and UV or EB curing, the post-reaction ofthe NCO/OH groups takes place at room temperature or is forced at higher temperature.; Alternatively, the NCO/OH reaction can proceed first followed by UV or EB curing. Both procedures result in good adhesion with good mechanical properties and chemical resistance of the coating.; EBECRYL® 1205 is useful in standard UV/EB curable coatings to improve their adhesion on substrates such as plastics.; Coatings containing EBECRYL® 1205 can be applied by spray or other methods.; After solvent evaporation, the coatings can be UV or EB cured.
