Burcotrope™ 1250 is a hydrotrope for neutral and alkaline formulations that effectively elevates cloud points in built and surfactant formulations. Typical applications include hard surface cleaners, built liquid laundry detergents, automatic dishwasher detergents and rinse aids, and hypochlorite containing detergents and sanitizers.

Efficient hydrotrope in moderate alkalinity; Cost effective for use in formulations that require extremely high levels (>15%) of sodium xylene sulfonate; Effectively elevates cloud points in built formulations and surfactant formulations; Controls viscosity in high surfactant content formulations; Has minimal effect on foaming; low foaming formulations remain low foaming; Hypochlorite compatible; can be used to couple hypochlorite containing formulations; Alkyl phenol ethoxylate (APE) free
- Formulation Guideline
Burcotrope 1250 is not suitable for low pH systems.. To increase the amount of foam generated, surfactants such as Burcoterge C2P-39 (amphoteric) or Burco COPB-35 (betaine) can be added to the formulation.
