EBECRYL® 4501 is an undiluted aromatic urethane acrylate designed specifically for wood coatings, including cork and parquet, emphasizing high-grit feeder abrasion resistance. Coatings formulated with EBECRYL® 4501, cured through UV/EB processes, exhibit noteworthy characteristics such as high flexibility, good coin scratch resistance, and substantial abrasion resistance, particularly according to the grit feeder method. This product offers a range of features, including matting, improved mechanical resistance, high gloss, faster cycle time, low-temperature curing, low energy consumption, high impact resistance, a good balance of properties, improved flexibility, and long pot life. Additionally, EBECRYL® 4501 adheres to labeling claims, including being bisphenol A-free, having a low carbon footprint (PCF), being solvent-free, and VOC-free.
