EBECRYL® 609 is a clear liquid bisphenol A epoxy diacrylate oligomer, diluted with 15% butyl acetate. Noted for its light color and medium viscosity, films cured by UV or EB showcase the high gloss, surface hardness, and excellent solvent resistance characteristic of epoxy resins. EBECRYL® 609 finds applications in overprint varnishes, lithographic and screen inks, coatings for paper, paperboard, wood chipboard, rigid plastics, paper upgrading, fast cure coatings, laminating adhesives, and wood sealers and topcoats. It is commonly used in wood coatings and furniture coatings, employing methods such as curtain coating, gravure coating, and roller application.
