Lansperse RPS43 is the final addition to our rapeseed-based biobased product range. It stands out as the most hydrophilic among the series, as indicated by its HLB value. Rapeseed is a sustainable crop that poses no environmental concerns. Our products are developed using our proprietary BioLoop technology, which involves the attachment of two hydrophobes to particle surfaces, ensuring stable dispersing action.

The Lansperse RPS43 shows itself to be a good dispersing agent for the type of carbon black that we utilized in the testing protocol, namely Eltex 430. Future work will look at other grades of carbon black. It seems to compare favorably with our standard recommendation for carbon blacks (Lansperse LT87) but gives the formulator a 100% biobased alternative.

Stainless steel, polyethylene or glass lined equipment is necessary for the storage of Lansperse RPS43 in order to prevent corrosion and subsequent contamination. This material can separate on standing and at low temperatures.. May require agitation and warming prior to use.
