ASCOTRAN® AL4 is a ready-to-use, liquid antiflash-rust additive designed for waterborne coatings. It functions as a hydrophobic agent, protecting nearly dry films under high humidity and acting as a corrosion inhibitor for metal packaging. VOC-free and compatible with a wide range of binders, it is suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including aluminum, zinc, and brass. Applications include industrial coatings, decorative paints, varnishes, stains, and waterborne systems.
