Resistance Management

The plant protection product named Flomice is an insecticide classified as Group 22B according to its mechanism of action.; Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action encourage the development of resistance.; Therefore, in order to delay the development of resistance, do not exceed the recommended total number of applications of Flomice in the same production season.; In cases where the application needs to be repeated, pay attention to the use of plant protection products with different mechanisms of action (except group 22B).

Usage of the Plant Protection Product

In order to detect adult emergence in tomato against tomato moth, sexual attractive pheromone traps are used in the field (1-2 traps/ha) and greenhouse (1 trap/greenhouse) immediately after planting.; The traps are checked once a week and when the first adult is seen in the trap, at least 100 plants are checked according to the size of the production area, and eggs, larvae and pupae are searched in the flowers, leaves, stems, fruits and shoots of the plant.; If 3 out of 100 plants are infected with any biological period of the pest, it is decided to fight.; Plants are checked again 5-6 days after spraying.; Spraying is repeated if necessary.; According to the size of the field, 50-100 plants are checked against greenworm in tomato, and eggs and larvae are searched in the flowers, leaves, stems, fruits and shoots of the plant.; If 5 out of 100 plants are found to be infected, the struggle is started immediately.; In pepper, cucumber, gherkin, eggplant and lettuce, the application is made by walking in the diagonal direction against the cotton leafworm, when 1-2 newly opened egg packages or 4-5 larvae are seen in 100 plants.; Since the results will be better when the applications are made before the larvae are dispersed, care should be taken in the application time.; Average daily temperature against potato beetle in potato is 14-15 °C.; When it reaches, the field is entered in the direction of its diagonals and eggs, larvae and adults of the pest are searched in the furnaces.; The presence of any period indicates that the field is contaminated.; If the application will be made against the first generation, it should be done when the first mature larvae (fourth period) are seen in the plants.; In case of application to the second offspring, egg opening must be completed.; In this period, the application may not be necessary, as the damage due to the insect density can be tolerated by the plant.; However, as a result of the researches, 20% of the damage caused by the potato beetle on the leaves of the potato plant can be tolerated by the plant and there is no decrease in the product.; This rate goes up to 40% depending on the phenological period and development of the plant.; Greenworm eggs and larvae are counted by checking all randomly selected plants with a row length of 3 m against greenworm in cotton.; Application is decided when there are 2 larvae on average with a row length of 3 m.

Metaflumizone, which is from the semicarbazone group, is taken by the gastric tract and contact route, and it binds to the receptors in the sodium channels of the nerve cells of the pest, blocking the channels and providing control..
