Ethosurf CSA 06P
Ethosurf series of reactive emulsifiers are next-generation surfactants designed specifically to overcome the negative properties imparted by free surfactants in the system. These new surfactants have an unsaturated bond which gets attached to the polymer during the polymerization process thereby reducing the free surfactant content in the system. These surfactants offer superior water resistance, better adhesion and a score of other property enhancements to the polymer. Functional emulsions using reactive emulsifiers have widespread use especially in the paints, coatings, inks & adhesive industry.

The Ethosurf series of surfactants have been specifically designed keeping focus on its reactivity & emulsifying ability. The attachment of the surfactant to the polymer chain, provides enhanced stability of the latex & in turn improves water resistance, pigment binding, heat resistance etc. of the resulting polymer; Co polymerizable into the polymer chain leaving negligible amount of free surfactant in the system; Improvement in physical properties of the film such as water resistance, weatherproofing, heat resistance, scrub resistance etc; Superior pigment binding properties with reduced efflorescence; Compatible with various types of monomers; Controlled particle size; Improved gloss & dirt pick up resistance; Lower foaming; Improved Scrub Resistance & mild anti corrosive properties
- Handling Precautions
The usual precautions in handling chemicals should be observed and it is recommended that operatives should wear goggles and gloves when handling the concentrated product. Any contact with skin and eyes should be washed immediately with copious amounts of cold water.
