Life-Kote 92W06 White is a fast drying, corrosion resistant metal primer containing rust inhibitive pigments for interior and exterior applications. This primer may be used as a barrier coat to permit vinyls, epoxies, or other strong solvent containing top coats to be applied. Adheres tightly to clean metal and to topcoats. Contains no lead, chrome or other heavy metal compounds. VOC compliant.

- Hand stir each container thoroughly before using and occasionally while applying. No thinning usually required. For thinning instructions, contact your local H-I-S sales representative. Reduce with aromatic solvent if necessary.
- Application
- May be applied by air, airless, air-assisted airless, turbo or HVLP spray. Product may also be applied by dip or flowcoat. Recommended tip size for airless or air assisted airless spray: .011" to .013" (0.28-0.38 mm) orifice.
- Cleanup
- Clean spills, spatters, hands, tools and other equipment promptly with lacquer thinner. Dispose of used paint and waste in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. Follow manufacturer's safety recommendations when using lacquer thinner.
- Application Precautions & Limitations
- Apply when surface, air and product are above 40oF (4oC) and at least 5oF (3oC) above the dew point.

- Surface Preparation
All substrates must be cleaned free of dust, dirt, oil (including form oils & parting compounds), grease, soap residue, wax, flaking paint, and any other contaminants. All burrs should be removed and sham edges or rough weld seams should be ground down. The substrate should be thoroughly degreased in accordance with SSPC-SPI. Solvent wipe and/or detergent clean surfaces before application. Sandblast or wire-brush surfaces to remove rust and mill scale. For optimum adhesion and corrosion resistance, metal should be iron or zinc phosphate treated.
