Simple Solvents N-Heptane
Simple Solvents Normal Heptane (n-Heptane) is a straight-chain alkane consisting of 7 carbon atoms and is widely applied in laboratories as a non-polar solvent. n-Heptane is relatively stable, largely non reactive, and easily evaporated. n-Heptane is used to extract oils from plant flowers, seeds, leaves and stalk.
