VIVAPUR® HPMC K4M is a medium viscosity hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose in powder form. It is solvable in water and forms a reversible gel above a specific gelling temperature. VIVAPUR® HPMC K4M can also be used to increase tack and form transparent and flexible films which show oil barrier properties. VIVAPUR® HPMC K4M is an EU approved food additive which complies with the specifications according to Reg. (EU) No. 231/2012 and Food Chemical Codex. For an EU usage please consider food categories and maximum levels listed in Reg. (EC) No 1333/2008.
