Bio-Green Planet® Trichoderma atrobrunneum

Bio-Green Planet® Trichoderma atrobrunneum is a fungus that breaks down cellulose and lignin-heavy material such as wood, straw, and crop residues. Through the breakdown of these tougher materials, T. atrobrunneum provides carbon and nitrogen that promotes strong root development and enhances nutrient utilization. T. atrobrunneum conditions soil by breaking down tough organic matter, making otherwise unavailable nutrients available for root uptake.

HIGHLIGHTS

T. atrobrunneum is also well known for its ability to stimulate and improve plants' resistance to a variety of fungal pathogens, including species of Verticillium, Fusarium and Pythium.. Additionally, the strain promotes root growth, increases carbon (C) and nitrogen (N) availability, and promotes a healthy breadcrumb-like porous soil texture.
