Cereplas™ L8TM LE
- CASE Ingredients Features
- Low Temperature Flexibility
- Chemical Name
- Tri-n-octyl Trimellitate
- Chemical Family
- Esters
Cereplas™ L8TM LE is a plasticizer produced by the esterification of linear octanol with trimellitic anhydride. It is a pale yellow, nearly odorless liquid, miscible with inert organic solvents but immiscible with water. With higher purity and lower alcohol content than Cereplas™ L8TM, it provides low-temperature flexibility in flexible PVC applications. Its minimal migration ensures long service life, making it suitable for automotive interior trim and lubricant formulations.
