Brassicamidopropyl Dimethylamine is an amidoamine with a unique C18 - C22 fatty acyl composition.; The amine functionality is cationically charged below pH 6.5. The cationic group binds to anionically charged hair fibers. The C18 - C22 tail group provides lubricity and conditioning benefits.; In emulsions, Brassicamidopropyl Dimethylamine forms lamellar liquid crystals (LLCs) when combined with a fatty alcohol. These structures can stabilize high oil loads and provide a soft, powdery, and non-greasy feel.
