KAFRIT UVA 60J781 PC
KAFRIT UVA 60J781 PC is a polycarbonate sheet that features a protective UV cap layer. In most cases, PC sheets come with a thin co-extruded layer known as the cap layer. This particular layer is composed of PC resin, enriched with a high concentration of UV absorbers. The recommended thickness of this layer takes into account both its erosion over time during service and the optical density of the UV additive. Consequently, the cap layer ensures that no harmful UV light can penetrate through to the unprotected polycarbonate underneath. This product is primarily designed for use in MW sheets and is particularly well-suited for applications with high linear speed requirements.

- UV Cap Layer Product Overview
Most PC sheets are protected by a thin co-extruded layer (Cap Layer). This layer is based on PC resin, enriched with a high level of UV absorbers. The recommended layer thickness is taking into consideration the layer erosion over the service life and the UV additive optical density, so no harmful UV light will penetrate the Cap Layer to the unprotected Polycarbonate.
