Pectyl S contains the combination of a macrolide and a sulfonamide, specially designed to be administered in food. Tylosin tartrate salt is characterized by its high bioavailability in the digestive tract, a necessary condition to generate optimal levels of tylosin in plasma and tissues. For its part, sulfamethoxazole is characterized by its high absorption and tissue distribution, added to a broad antimicrobial spectrum.
