Dynamic Modifiers Anti-Stat (I) Concentrate for Polypropylene

Dynamic Modifiers Anti-Stat (I) Concentrate for Polypropylene is composed of a proprietary formulation to be used as a surface modifier thermoplastic concentrate for use in polypropylene films, thick-gage and fiber applications. Producing polypropylene parts using this concentrate will result in improved static dissipation on and throughout the polypropylene part.

Anti-Stat (I) Concentrate for Polypropylene may also have an effect on water adhesion and carry-over on the surface of the polypropylene produced from it. Anti-Stat (I) Concentrate for Polypropylene is hydrophilic in nature and will promote wetting on the surface of the polypropylene.

Recommended Use

Anti-Stat (I) Concentrate for Polypropylene can be custom formulated to achieve the appropriate processing and performance requirements. Our standard versions should be used from 0.5% to as much as 3% by weight. Increasing the amount used increases the degree of anti-static properties achieved until a maximum static discharge is achieved. The concentrate should be thoroughly gravimetrically blended with virgin polypropylene homopolymer resins.
