The insecticidal soap concentrate works by direct contact with target pests due to the specially selected fatty acids, which disrupt the cuticle (or outer layer) by breaking down protective waxes. DES-X then penetrates the body of the pest, causing degradation of cell membranes, which leads to leakage of cellular contents, ultimately killing the insect or mite pest.

For field applications, apply a 2% dilution (2 gal of product/100 gal of water) at a rate of 75 to 200 gal/A using ground spray equipment. For use as a deer repellent, apply a 2% dilution (2.5 oz product/gal water) at a minimum 10 gal spray solution/acre. - Storage and Disposal
Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal. Store this product in its original container and keep in a secure storage area out of reach of children and domestic animals. Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility. Do not reuse or refill the container. Triple rinse container (or equivalent) following label instructions promptly after emptying. Offer for recycling, if available.
