- Features
Abrasion Resistant, Chemical Resistant, High Optical Transparency, Hydrophilic, UV Resistant; Excellent Water Attraction - Cured HydroPhil™-S develops a unique surface structure which attracts water to the coated surface. The result is water contact angles approaching 0°.; Optical Clarity - The combination of the coatings' thinness and the surface structures result in excellent optical clarity.; UV Stable - HydroPhil™-S is stable to ultraviolet exposure.; Coating - Methods HydroPhil™-S may be applied to most substrates by dip, spin, spray, sponge, or roller. The substrate will often determine the best coating method.; Durability - HydroPhil™-S is a robust coating that will maintain its hydrophilic properties after modest abrasion or chemical exposure.; HydroPhil™-S provides a nanoscale coating that provides water contact angles of less than 10°. The coating is optically clear and modestly durable. The current market includes HVAC and Microfluidics.

- Removal, Storage and Disposal
Clean Up - Clean up all equipment per the cleaning instructions that came with your equipment. Dispose of collected materials according to local regulations.; Storage - HydroPhil™ should be stored in securely closed containers. HydroPhil™may be stored at temperatures form 5° to 30° C. Allow material to acclimate to room temperature of 18 to 30° C prior to application.; Disposal - Cured HydroPhil™ has the same composition as glass and can be disposed of according to the regulations for fused silica. The liquid coating solution containing solvent should be disposed of according to local and federal regulations.; Caution - Consult MSDS prior to use. The solvents in HydroPhil™ are flammable in liquid form. Material should not be used in the near open flame or sparks. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.; Removal - Cured HydroPhil™ may be removed by sanding lightly or rubbing with alcohol
