BRUGGOLEN® H324
- Chemical Family
- Copper-based Compounds
BRUGGOLEN® H324 is a heat stabilizer and antioxidant which protects high performance polyamides, preserving strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability from damage caused by heat, weather etc.It is a copper iodide based heat stabilizer /antioxidant specially suited for filled and unfilled polyamides. After conditioning of the polyamide BRUGGOLEN® H324 generates a typical discoloration known from copper iodide based antioxidants.Features:Powerful long-term protectionExcellent quality and homogeneity via specific production know-howCharacteristic:Bluish or greenish discoloration after conditioning

- Processing
The addition to the polymer melt is best done by compounding on twin screw extrusion machines. Only this will lead to the desired optimum dispersion of the stabilizer in the compound. Dry blending of BRUGGOLEN® H324 along with polymer granules will not lead to an optimum dispersion of the additive in the melt during injection molding.. However, to support the dispersion of BRUGGOLEN® H324 when making a dry-blend, it is recommended that our BRUGGOLEN® P60 as adhesive agent is used.
