- Formulation Applications
Dispersion of ADINS synergists into the polymeric matrix is key to obtain the desired improvements but it is not always an easy step.; To obtain a good dispersion of the additives, high shear should be applied to the melt during compounding step. The high level of additive dosage in some formulations, and the increased viscosity obtained as a result, make mixing with high shear a difficult step.; To facilitate ADINS incorporation, a masterbatch with a content of 40 wt% of the synergist has been designed to guarantee a good dispersion in all processing conditions for the following formulations: EVA PE & PP PVC; EVA; PE & PP; PVC; ADINS Masterbatch performance in an EVA formulation for cable:; ADINS Clay Sil-1; ADINS Clay Sil 1 (powder form)
