Primarily for elastizing Synthoester combinations with aliphatic and aromatic isocyanate prepolymers.

When properly stored in tightly closed containers Synthoester 1170 has an unlimited shelf-life. When stored in rooms with temperatures below 10°C c louding may occur, which can be eliminated by heating briefly to 60-80°C.

Soluble in ester, ether esters and ketones. Aromatic solvents can be used as diluents. Aliphatic solvents may not be used.

Good flexibility and distensibility are achieved by a combination with Synthoester 1120, which gives excellent results when coating highly elastic rubber parts and paper, cardboard, and glass, polyamide, nylon and cotton fabrics.
