- Application
BB-AMIDE 5006 is useful for formulating anticorrosive systems, industrial maintenance and enamel paint.
- Technology
- Plastics
- Material Features
- Non Corrosive
- Handling
BB-AMIDE curing agents may absorb moisture and carbon dioxide if left in open containers. In order to avoid increase and possible cloudness we suggest to store BB-AMIDE curing agents at temperatures above 5°C and/or, in any case to let them be conditioned at temperatures above 10°C before use. When kept in tightly closed containers and in these conditions BBAMIDE curing agents have 36 months shelf-life.
- Product Characteristic
BB-AMIDE 5006, in comparison with standard polyamide resins, has the advantage not to need of normal induction time after catalysis and not to hardener under critical temperatures and moisture.
- Applications
Average H equivalent - 460; Mixing ratio with solid epoxy resin (EEW 450), phr - 85-110; Pot-life at 25°C on 200 g mass with solid epoxy resin (40%) EEW 450), hours - 10-12
