Ocean's Balance Organic Irish Moss - Whole Leaf
Ocean's Balance Organic Irish Moss - Whole Leaf is a sustainably grown and harvested macroalgae (marine plant) that is dehydrated at a low temperature. It provides natural sources of broad-spectrum trace minerals in naturally chelated form and other phytochemicals and micronutrients increasingly unavailable in conventional food ingredients. It is a kind of red seaweed that grows along the rocky coasts of the North Atlantic in North America and Europe and is often called "the collagen of the sea." It's best known as a natural source of carrageenan, a type of vegetarian gelatin. Use this sustainably harvested superfood as a roux to add to stir-fries, rice, beans, bread, baked goods, and smoothies. It can also be used as a clarifying agent when brewing beer.
