Cola®Mulse PCMX is a 100% active, non-ionic product designed to quickly incorporate chloroxylenol (PCMX) into liquid hand soaps for anti-microbial claims. PCMX is a highly ef-fective broad-spectrum antimicrobial and preservative used to inhibit bacteria, fungi and mold growth. The unique combination of PEG-8 Laurate and Laureth-4 permits Cola®Mulse PCMX to be easily cold mixed into any fi nished product. Unlike other concen-trates, Cola®Mulse PCMX does not contain any drying alcohol and does not have a fl ashpoint. The ingredients used to solubilize the PCMX can also help incorporate fragrances in highly anionic formulas.

The minimum recommended amount is 1.5% which delivers 0.25% active PCMX. It is rec-ommended to add Cola®Mulse PCMX after all other surfactant ingredients have been blend-ed and after any heat applied in the process-ing has dissipated.
