Genesee Polymers' GP-342 SILICONE FLUID is an amine functional silicone polymer with the following structure where x= 400 and y = 1:The amine-alkyl functionality of GP-342 SILICONE FLUID provides a versatile reaction site for the synthesis of a wide variety of silicone/organic copolymers, which may be tailored for use in textiles, coatings, car polishes and many other applications. The presence of polar amine groups also gives greater affinity to many substrates, suggesting uses of GP-342 in lubricant, coating and mold release formulations.GP-342 SILICONE FLUID is compatible with dimethyl silicone fluids and with aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents.
