PURETOL™ 550D, odorless and colorless, is a Europe grade white mineral oil with a Saybolt viscosity of 533 and a specific gravity of 0.870. This product meets US FDA CFR 172.878 and FDA 21 CFR 178.3620(a) requirements. This material meets the purity requirements of European Pharmacopeia (Ph. EUR.) - Paraffin, Liquid and United States Pharmacopeia (USP) - Mineral Oil requirements which is used for a variety of applications such as blending food grade lubricants and in the production of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
